Owning BB blue and GMT. I know how Tudor quality is up there with the bigger brand, cant resist in getting this on the launch day

The AD told me it is a limited production model around 1000s , Unlike the numbered pelagos.

Remind me a bit with my black C daytona. But this one with date

Is the nickname Black Panther taken? Suits the watch pretty well i think :D

Limited to 1181 worldwide at the moment.

Great watch...

I sometimes feel like the only New Zealander who doesn't enjoy Rugby, but I own and love Tudor as well as Rolex, so will try to get one of these somehow.

Why not go with the blackshield? Seems like a cool watch. I think the first comment would come back that you cannot see the markers on the bezel, however if you are going blacked out then..... what else separates this watch from the other?

Agreed with this.. plus the black shield is ceramic which is a huge bonus IMO over PVD coating

PVD? Not for me, hate how it wears and every small scratch or dent is a nightmare!

Whoah! Now that I like. Had no idea this was coming out. Monday tomorrow and I'll be trying to track one down. My Tudor collection is 11 strong, but that's an odd number. Best make it 12 I think.

Just backtracking those taking pictures of their new watches, it seems so far, all of you lucky folks are located in Europe or Asia (as of Sunday Sept 15th).

I'm in Miami - so I don't think any shipments were made on Sat or Sunday... We're still all eagerly waiting for Monday - for hopefully some sort of news in the US!

The AD here, accidentally sent me the Tudor AD internal newsletter, so they only received the news on Saturday (of announcement) as well. I'm hoping to scoop one up ASAP, and/or they receive it on Monday already.

I'm just a bit bummed thinking all 1181 are already allocated, since this release was on a Saturday - and the AD mentioning their regional sells reps are offline on the weekends.

Just picked mine up today, my AD SA (who is excellent by the way) told me that his company Beaverbrooks UK were only allocated 3 Tudor Chrono Black's in total for the whole of the UK.

In fact the guy getting served before me was picking his Tudor Chrono Black that had just been collected from the Manchester store especially for him.

So my local AD has sold 2/3 rds of their whole UK allocation, his parting words were you will probably never see another one. Who knows he may be correct?

Explorer2polar,

Did you reserve this watch on day of announcement? Or strolled in today and asked?

I see you're in the UK - so I haven't read anything from US customers yet. I'm still waiting for the AD to receive a reply from their Tudor sales rep!

I knew from the beginning of September that Tudor AD's were expecting something being released In line with a major sporting event, it was hinted that a new Ltd Ed watch based upon one from the current range, but Tudor put a tight Embargo on (as they do) news leaking out.

I took the chance that this new Ltd Ed watch would be worth having and ordered/requested it from my local AD. They said yes you can have the first one if anything is actually released.

My AD rang me on Saturday morning at 10.04 am to say they had just received a delivery of 1 and it was mine to collect. I actually picked it up today, its pretty cool.

I’ve just collected one from Beaverbrooks Metro Centre today and I was told that their total allocation was 3 too.

congrats man, yes i heard the same thing about the limited production 1181 watches only. so they are not expecting any more shipments

when they (allblacks) add more players 5-10 per year. they will add more accordingly

Less...
I was told recently there are between 1400 and 1500 Tudor AD worldwide
