8th Story Incoming On The Gulf - 126710BLNR
Hey Everyone,
Incoming Batman Jubilee 126710BLNR. It is really beautiful and having owned (and missing) the Pepsi Jubilee, I am kinda preferring the aesthetics of the Batman on SS Jubilee, whereas I like Pepsi on WG with Blue dial. Anyway, this watch is a winner. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it, but now owning it and looking at it the past 2 days, I don't want to let it go...yet... The Rolex Jubilee bracelet is probably the most comfortable SS I have owned and the new 3285 caliber Movement w/ 70 hour power, and new tech along with the classic Blue/Black BLNR Cerachrom Bezel makes this even a step up from the original BLNR. Here are a few pictures from my Eight Floor Condo on Siesta Key! 2019-09-15_15-59-08.jpg 2019-09-15_16-00-11.jpg 2019-09-15_16-01-21.jpg Current 5 Piece Collection Still Mostly Rolex as I still like mostly Rolex for the price, look, durability and reliability. I wanted a Patek, but the prices don't make sense right now as I only want a sports watch. I love my AP Diver which I am wearing to the beach almost daily (changing to yellow strap soon). 2019-09-15_15-57-43.jpg |

It’s happening, as I expected...
At first, so many immediately “hated” on the new BLNR on jubilee. I believe it started with previous BLNR on oyster owners whose dreams of the “Discontinued Batman” with skyrocketing values was extinguished by the newer, improved Batman. Owning the new version, I know from first hand experience it is STUNNING. I have also compared my new Batman to a client’s old Batman and both of us agreed the new version was nicer (to the point that my client is trying to flip his for then new version). But the naysayers have continued their resentment. But, one thing they didn’t count on ... the new watches are hitting the street and people can actually see-touch-feel it. And, after experiencing it are coming away with the same unanimous revelation —- they like as much or more. Kudos to Rolex for improving this already piece! To the OP — CONGRATULATIONS for your gorgeous new addition to your already spectacular collection! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Much prefer the BLNR 2.0 with the jubilee over the oyster. It looks so crispy and clean looking.

Thanks everyone for your kind words...
I am definitely keeping it. The more I look at it, the blue and black bezel to me matches the 904L SS hue and black dial nicer than the Pepsi on SS. Cleaner and sharper look IMO. The Pepsi bezel to me matches nicer with blue dial and WG warmer hue. It is an aesthetic thing at least for me. New Batman Looks much nicer in person than pictures, which was a little unexpected as I had the Pepsi. But it is the overall look in person that is very impressive. Also, I Really do not like Batgirl name... This needs to be changed. I mean we still call the Pepsi the Pepsi, only SS Pepsi. Since there was a previous SS Batman, just Batman Jubilee is more apropos than Batgirl. If anything the strong blue and black is a tad more masculine looking than the Pepsi on Jubilee. |

TBH though it’s just not for me. I have the oyster and think it looks correct My mate has the jubilee and I just don’t dig it But that’s why there’s a choice Although I don’t really care about the price, the grey market pricing for the 126710 has dropped significantly in the last month. Whether this is down to general pricing downturn, market sentiment or higher availability I don’t have a clue, but I did expect it to stay higher for much longer. The 116710 has continued to climb from what I’ve seen, and the BLRO, well it’s still right up there

I know ... this is just fun mental ping pong. All the BLNRs are dropping ... but to put it in perspective: when I got mine July it had an estimated value of $19k on Chrono24. Now it’s at $17.6k. Either case is crazy! I think we both can sleep well at night knowing our watches are safely above MSRP Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The real name is either BLNR 2.0 or The Batman 2.0. Batgirl slam was from someone pissed they upgraded the BLNR. |
