After an initial disappointing viewing 3 days ago, I had an urging feeling that the Blue Bay is better than it looked under horrible dealer lighting, and after a quick comparison to the Pelagos (which would be my 3rd), I decided to go Blue!

The blue one is stunning.
A friend of mine made a wrist shot with one of the very few vintage 9401 (1978) that was originally manufactured with the same dial/hands combo, awesome pic.

The red is great, and I love the blue one, the awesome recent pics gave me the idea to give my old grey one some wrist time, so it can escape the bank safe's darkness.
These new Tudor Subs are remarkable.

To my surprise, while on vacation, I found an AD who had a huge Tudor display case. I tried both the blue and red versions, side by side. The blue was a little too modern, too cold for me. The red was gloriously retro, and the gilt finishes against the not-quite-black dial just sang to me. I couldn't walk away. But, the leather strap was not large enough for my 8 inch wrist, so I went with stainless (which was a perfect fit on the last adjustment). So I'm wondering what people have done to get a similar look in a custom leather strap.

I really love this watch!

That's a Seiko snzh51 with modded dial, hands, bezel, and crystal. The watch originally looked like this
