Help removing sapphire crystal to tighten seconds hand please?

Hello- I have replaced many plastic crystals, but I have an Airking with a sapphire crystal that has a loose seconds hand.

My plan is to take the crystal off, crimp the end of the tube and put the crystal back on. I have a standard crystal press that I use to put bezels for plastic crystals back one.

Any instructions, suggestions on how to go about this please?

THANKS!

Usually you don't take a sapphire crystal off with the movement still in the case. It is much easier to open the back and take the movement out to work on it.....

Do it from the inside take the movement out don't mess with the crystal. If not done right the crystal can be cracked or bezel warped with out proper tools and technique. Rik

Please, please do not attempt to remove the bezel that holds the sapphire in place. The job HAS to be done with the movement out of the case, the automatic work off and movement placed in the movement holder - unless you wish to damage your watch. 'crimping the end of the tube' also worries me. Tylden.

This is pretty clear:

http://www.watchgeek.com/crystal_installation.htm

The only thing I do differently is I switch to a knife blade to do the final removal once I've worked the bezel up with the razor.
