Looking for a GOOD watch band screwdriver
I am looking to buy a GOOD watch band screwdriver to remove or add links to a GMT and or Submariner. Also the tool to remove band from watch. I am new at this, so please be patient.
Thanks in advance. Dan G. Last edited by 1911dan; 15 November 2010 at 05:20 AM.. Reason: Add word |

Hi Dan,
Welcome to the Forum. IMO the best tool for the job is a 'Rolex Sea Dweller Screwdriver' . This screwdriver comes with the Sea Dweller but can be bought separately. I have one that came with my SD but bought a spare on Ebay. It is the exact size for the job and exposes the link screw heads to the minimum potential for damage. It also has a pin for removing the springbars on a Rolex with lug holes. If you have a Rolex with no lug holes have a look at: http://www.watchtool.co.uk/bergeon-6...ts-p-6712.html for the best tool but there are others listed.

You can get an individual Bergeon 1.2mm screwdriver and that will work well. The Sea-dweller screwdriver is better if you can find one. Its a PERFECT fit for the screws in the bracelet.
