Icon20 Finally achieved my GRAIL Patek!

Please welcome my newest Patek Philippe World Time Enamel 5231G!

I had my eyes on the previous YG variant for the longest time until this WG released in 2022 with a map of Southeast Asia and Oceania. My hometowns are on the map so it was a clear winner for me.

Personally, I feel that the Grand Feu cloisonné enamel dial on the 5231G is much more vibrant as compared to the 5231J.

Please enjoy the photos

That's such a goodie. I didn't even know it existed. Best thing is that it has New Zealand on the map! So few of the world timers do.

Thanks all. Glad you guys love it! The colors are so intense under direct sunlight it’s hard to capture on the camera.

Congratulations.
Did you have to apply for this reference? The rumor is that after several purchases, possibly 10 or more Pateks , then one becomes eligible for an enamel dial or rare handcraft..?

Wow congrats! Yes please share your experience on your journey to this piece. I've have a decent relationship with my Patek AD who have gotten me a diverse 8 piece collection across the range incl Nautilus and Aquanauts. When I asivsed them I wanted a enamel world timer next, I was told not to keep my hopes up as they only receive a piece every few years.

Luckily or unluckily for me, I purchased it from the market and skipped that hassle. I know many huge collectors that haven't been able to get this due to the scarcity and I'm definitely not up on that priority list

Beautiful piece! This is something I would love but I know its going to take years. I like to be the first owner so I'm prepared to wait.

Congratulations
