Help please with an older Datejust
So a friend of mine inherited this 16233 (I think) Datejust from his late father.
He is not much good at forums so I'm asking on his behalf. He took it to a Rolex AD and they have sent it to Rolex for a service, new crystal and crown. The guy in the shop told him it is unusual in that it has diamond AND Roman numeral hour markers. He also told him the bracelet needed replacing and that would cost a cool £3,500 (he decided against that option LOL) So if anyone can kindly help, my questions are: 1. What is the model reference number? 2. How rare is the dial? 3. Any recommendations for UK independent Rolex bracelet repair specialist? |

Scratched crystal indicates plexi and therefore 16013 but the dial is later...
