Watch accuracy

My wife’s DJ (bought in July 2020) is gaining 7.5 seconds per day.

I would have thought this is too much? My Explorer 2 (bought October 2021) is losing 0.6per day!

Anyone have any views on whether I should bring my wife’s watch to be regulated?

Thanks

How many days have you "tested" it to time.gov or something other than another watch or clock?

If it is consistently 7.5 seconds they will regulate it sure. Not sure how you got as precise as .5 - how are you testing it?

They'll sort it...

If she wears it every say it's worth it, if she wears it for the odd night out I wouldn't bother..

I’m assuming your wife’s watch was brought new July 2020. One of my watches keeps fantastic time whilst wearing it but loses when not worn. Consider how it’s left at night.

I use an app called watch tracker and record time each day….

My wife’s watch and my own earth are consistently tracking these times.

My own is a new 226570 and is tracking this time since 1 October when I purchased it new for an AD. It’s more accurate than any watch I have owned.
