I put protective film on the tip of my, snooker cue.
Well, I wouldn't want it to get worn, would I?

'Backspin', you say.......what's, backspin?

This is like taking your wife for IVF and not even attempting to conceive the usual way just so you can keep her "new" down below. Lol OP you've lost your mind.

Soon we will start to see threads that ask where to buy protector film for the protection of the protector film! Lol.

Are you placing this on the inside as well? I would think wearing plastic would be rather uncomfortable. Is this on the crystal? If not, why not? How does this handle dirt between the links? If a sticker gets scratched do you replace the sticker?

I am genuinely curious.

Well, I didn't want to be the first one to say it, but for the love of Pete that watch looks like a flying saucer on your wrist.

Glad OP has kept cool under fire.

And been honest in past about the wrist:DSSD ratio.

I’ve seen skinny wrists with big watches and big wrists with smaller watches. Doesn’t bother me either way. But what I do notice is when people wear watches very loose. Especially girls that wear big gold sport watches loose.

I got it from and there are a number of models available too. Just a recommendation for those who are keen to protect it. Cheers There are easy instructional videos on how to apply too.
Great! I did it to my 11660 as well. Can I know which one you're using? I bought the RX-8.

your watch, your money, and you are wearing that on yourself. As long as that makes you happy, its good though. :)

I don't tell everyone I put a screen protector on my phone, I think you can skip telling everyone about protective films for your Rolex. ;-)

Certainly not for me, trying too hard to protect it makes it look like one's life depends on it.

Just wear and enjoy it! The scratches give it character and show its actually worn and used.

I used to think this, but most recently on my newest rolex, I left the clasp sticker on. It feels way better when I'm working on my laptop and does not have scratching noise.

I love marks on a watch that tell a story, but not the ones i won't remember.

If surrogate birth were more reliable, I were a woman, and I'm wealthy... I don't see why I wouldn't put the risk on someone else to give birth.

I def don't want want a ripped cratch and destroyed mammary glands from breast feeding, no matter how temporary and rewarding.

I don't wish that on any person.

Ha, my comment was more the conception, not the delivery. I'm sure many would outsource that if they could

Life was not meant to be sterile. It was meant to be lived.

We have pain and we have "inconvenience" for a reason. It evolves the mind.

Using the childbirth metaphor, it is a painful and life altering experience because it is imprinting on a woman's brain, that they are no longer a girl, but now a mother. They've evolved into somebody else. Someone who has responsibilities beyond themselves. They have reached adulthood and are fulfilling their destiny.

Men used to go through "rites of passage" to imprint on their brains/psyche that they were no longer boys, but were now men. The rites are painful. Otherwise there is no evolution of the mind.

If you buy something and it looks the way it does when it was made, it has not fulfilled it's usefulness. It has no character, no battle scars, it is merely a pampered ornament.

Lifeless. And childlike.
