Ginger IS sweet but the ginger spice is a nice touch. The smoke is definitely smokey, probably more so than most smoked old fashioned that I've had. It's good and something different but nothing I'd hunt down again.

My guy just called and offered all three Old Forester 150th anniversary bottles. From reviews I’ve read, batch 1 of 3 sounds tasty. The others, meh. Anyone taste these that can give a little feedback? Thanks!
