Proud husband
So my wife has always been a runner. In the last couple of years she began to take it pretty seriously. Helps with a lot of anxiety she has been experiencing.
Seeing that she was serious, I got her involved with a local triathlon team coached by a well know local guy who has competed at the Olympic level. Fast forward to Sunday. Her small team knowing there would be no big races anytime soon held their own race day including the full marathon. She has never run one but routinely does a 35k run every Sunday. She was looking forward to the NYC marathon this year before it was cancelled. Proud to say in her first ever attempt at that distance - she strongly crossed the finish line in 3 hours 24 minutes. Proud of her and all her hard work. Gratuitous family shot included. |
