Yeah but I'd be more than a bit cautious or hesitant lets say to want to be an early adopter. Too much cool, tends not to always work out as advertised.

Definitely some cool tech - I personally wouldn't be too worried about being an early adopter - GM's really invested some crazy R&D in electrifying their fleet.

Wow, that is like a video game. Really cool tech. Not sure on reliability LOL. You rarely see any Hummers on the road. Hopefully GM fairs better with the new model. Looks like 100K ish for a nicely equipped model.

However the HUMV was a very welcome sight when they appeared initially in the military. The jeep was more than due for a much needed upgrade.

I think it looks just awesome. I'll be due for a new vehicle in 5-ish years or so, and I was planning to get a Land Cruiser. It now seems like that's discontinued. This may very well be a contender. This will absolutely annihilate the Tesla truck in sales.

Is this brand even relevant anymore (civilian version)?? I think not. I can't remember the last time I even seen an H2 or H3 on the local roads here in my area. They are a unicorn.

Maybe LA now has them all. I had a friend who had a Hummer H2 a number of years ago and he dumped it because he was getting jeers and dirty looks because of the gas guzzler label, so he bought and Cadillac Esclanade or a Ford Expedition or some other monstrosity and no more jeers. Go figure. As for the video. Does anybody who buys these things even get dirt on the tires???? Let alone out desert rock crawling.??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

They’ve been discontinued for over a decade, I think they mainly fell out of vogue because gas was $3-4 a gallon near their end, SUVs are back to their late 90s early 00s popularity. I’m sure they’ll sell quite a few

I too love hummers but not this kind.
I hope GM can prove me wrong but I simply don’t trust them with regards to electronics, fit and finish etc. To be fair Tesla has crap fit and finish as well.

This will see about as many trails as the Range Rover does lol Biggest concern is all the yahoos that will be driving army tanks that do 0-60 in 3 seconds over the next 5 years as electric trucks roll out en mass. Not to mention young kids driving the family SUV that’s now a rocket ship and heavy as hell lol

Cool truck Regardless to if I like it or not it's always good to see this type of innovation in the industry. It helps with research in so many other areas for different types of transportation.

I have a 2003 Hummer H2 with 80,000 km /50,000 miles in new condition. Really like the size of it and the ride.

I'm not a Hummer Fan
It’s an achievement in the direction of GM’s general tone deafness methinks.
I watched an interview with the GM president on CNBC and he couldn’t articulate a superior profitable value proposition for this new Hummer. Could just quote the marcomm psycho-babble of his adverts from the launch. What the EV market needs is another leap in range from better battery and motor efficiency... just my Quote:
I think you hit upon that segment’s attitude - the fun is in the modding more than the crawl/crab features of a 6-figure SUV. I thought we learned lessons over 150 years ago about 4-wheels and treacherous traverses over rocky terrain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
