There's arguably a very healthy range of Royal Oak options for both men and women. Women's range goes from 33-38mm (even up to 41mm if counting the diamond encrusted models). Men's range starts at 37mm.

Because they hope they can quickly get rid of all the stock by selling both to men and women. This way they can quickly leave that error behind and look for a brighter future

No, the 37 is categorized as unisex. My wife has a 37mm ROO. The only men's watches under 40mm are the jumbo and new 38mm ROC. It's very odd to me that they would continue to keep with the true proportions of the 15202 because of heritage and bla bla bla, but literally nothing else they make is the same size. Smells to me like it's their lure they don't want to lose, and I don't like it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Ok. I was just going by the AP website, which doesn't have a selector for "unisex", but has a men's range and a women's range. Note that the new 38mm ROC is in both the men's and women's ranges.

The blue dial appeared a touch too small, but the white dial looks just right.
Lug to lug is perfect on my 6" wrist. 15450 was too clunky - didn't wear flat like an RO should. |

The 15450 is in women's as well. Guess they no longer want to call it unisex but offer those models in both categories. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Stout but hugs the wrist well. Much sportier than my 14800.
6" wrist. The 15450 felt like a G-Shock - lacked the refinement that I wanted in a higher-end sports watch. |

Looks great on you! Since this just came out, may I ask how hard was it to get your hands on it? Did you need prior purchase history with your AD or boutique? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Nope, I did not. Maybe it helped a little that sales were slow and that I talk watches with the boutique guys? It was shown to me before release.

I was able to see two of the new 34mm in-person this past weekend at the boutique. Interestingly, the service tech I was talking to mentioned that the movement in this watch is not in-house. I didn’t catch who he said makes the movement, but looking at it through the case back, it does not seem to be as well finished as typical AP movements. Would be interesting to find out more about the movement.

Could it be based on this Vaucher? All of the specs align perfectly, and the movement configuration looks pretty darn similar. |

These look great, wish they came with more dial options though.

Nice that there is a smaller automatic option for ladies these days.

I think that’s a reasonable way to look at it. Quote:
A couple people in the past have insisted the 15450 is a Ladies Watch according to AP. I never heard that from AP when I visited boutiques, and they were happy to have me try it on. I wonder if those people did a search on AP’s website for Ladies watches and saw the 15450, thus only think of it that way. |

If/when they release a blue version (no diamonds) I might be keen to look at it. Tried the 15450st and was too stocky.
Given they have a 33 & 37 already I wonder why they didn't split the difference at 35mm. Perhaps the 33mm Quartz will be discontinued? |
