Auckland mini gtg...

Hi guys,

Don (sub2004) and I decided to have a mini get together in the St. Lukes mall this afternoon over some coffee. He wore his Panny (he also has a Sub 16610).

We first went over to Partridge Jewellers to check out some watches. He fell in love with the white Exp-II and then went to the NIKE shop in the St. Lukes mall where I picked up the polo I'm wearing!!

Some pics...

...and surprise, surprise, JJ sporting a Panny!!

Yes, we had an excellant time.!!

And to boot, JJ got me a brand new still in the box Rolex 2007 wall calendar and a rolex A4 Large catalogue!!!

Sorry for the hairy monster look, my firms on legal vacation so i have 2 weeks off which means no shaving and no suits!!!

For you UK and US members, SAKS auckland is having a sale, versace and armani black business suits down to $999nz which is about $300 pounds and if flying out another 12.5% off.

Mmmm Exp II, i just saw the UK retail, NZ is $2000 plus cheaper for this watch. I thought of checking it out in the UK but if i had to, i would rather get it in Auckland.

Mmmm... JJ's tt blue sub...... always liked that watch, its got the bling factor. The dealer had 2 new GMT II also.

Happy New Year all.

Well, I only had it on for like a few seconds. It was on its original leather band and felt big compared with the Rolex. But I have large wrists, so it did feel very comfy and actually looked damn good!!

In some societies, that would sound dirty.

JJ,
I don't want to be the first to sow the seeds of the TT Blue Sub sale, but imo you're a pannie man and just don't know it, yet!
It's 50:50 you'll sell the TT Blue by Feb. 1st, I say!

I'm laying odds that the 16610 goes first. If the TT goes, Zemina will kill him

I dunno, I thought I saw a little fluff on the blue dial. It's gotta be defective.

Although I'm fairly new to this forum. I think I share some equal "vibes" for a lack of better words here when I say I believe the TT blue is here to stay. What do think JJ?

I'm going to buck the trend here and say the PAM just doesn't look right on you, JJ. I know that's heresy to some here, but it looks better on Don than on you. Maybe it's because I'm so used to seeing you only with Rollies (although there was the time you had that Pumpkin (the less said about that the better), that maybe it's just a shock seeing you with something else.

Stick with the Rollies for the sake of all our sanity (not you, you're too far gone to be saved), please.

BTW, great pics. Looks like the two of you had a great time.

Don't you worry, my friend. It's ROLLIES only for me. That Panny on the wrist shot was for the benefit of you tossers!!

Happy New Year to you and Arleen, Ed!!
