Strap/bracelet for a vintage Rolex
Can anyone please recommend a place to purchase a genuine Rolex strap with a genuine buckle (or a Rolex genuine bracelet) for a vintage Rolex? The size near the lugs is 17mm. Rolex service in Dallas informed me that they don't have parts for these older watches. The Rolex has been in the family for a long time and I am trying to restore it to its former glory.
If anyone knows a place in Singapore, that helps as well. Thank you in advance! |

I got lucky recently with a 19mm Rolex leather strap and 16mm buckle for a vintage Daytona that I was able to buy at the Rolex Service Center in NYC. I'm surprised the Dallas RSC couldn't help at all. Did you actually walk in there with the watch? You could also try over on VRF or eBay (be careful).
What's the watch? Any photos? |

I'd take that after-market bracelet off of the watch, and go to the Rolex Service Center with the watch head only to get a new bracelet and/or strap for the watch. They should be able to help. Just tell them you lost the original bracelet. Good luck!
