1601 Cal 1570 only has DATE printed on the face?
HI, This is my first post. Just getting into the Rolex world and had a question about a 1601. I'm looking at a 1601 w/ cal 1570 but it just has DATE on the face and not DATEJUST. I cant find any info on it just having DATE on it. Did they make them that way or a fake? Thanks! Tony

Can you post photos of the dial and also between the lugs, inside the case-back, etc.

That dial belongs to the 34mm 15xx. I’ve seen these advertised mistakenly as 36mm Datejust, usually on eBay!!

Looks like a nice 34mm Date. Pretty much the same watch as the DJ just smaller. They came in the same configurations as the DJ but most seem to be the smooth bezel model.
Sleazy sellers will advertise them as DJs to steal your money so be careful. |
