$100k New watch collection

If you were a new collector & could purchase 5 watches, what would you choose?

Wouldn't it depends on what you could get your hands on?

If it's not an issue.
Daytona LeMans
Sub LV
GMT Batgirl

Basically I would round out my collection. I might be slightly over the budget but it would be a 124060, 126300 (White Roman, Jubilee), 126519LN, and a 5212A.

A SubLV for day-to-day, then some combo of Patek, FP Journe, A. Lange & Sohne. I don't need to get to 5 watches to spend $100k.

It think the OP asks 5 watches with a total budget of 100K. Are we talking retail of grey? Some of these suggestions are all over.

I feel like if you go to an AD and say here's $100k cash and I want 5 watches in exchange, you would be able to get out of the store with watches in retail? You might have to spend a quarter of that in jewlery tho so that budget might shrink

$100k New watch collection

I’d probably add a solid yellow gold Day Date to what I already have and be done with it.

You can’t go too wrong by buying the popular SS Rolex professionals.

Diver, GMT, Chronograph, Annual Calendar. Maybe throw in an Explorer if there’s money left over.

The most ideal situation would be to have the ability to get “some” at retail and some at grey prices. If you can somehow pull this off where it’s financially beneficial for you my opinion on a perfect 5 piece combo is as follows

1.) Stainless Daytona
2.) Stainless Submariner
3.) Pepsi GMT on jubilee
4.) AP 15500 Royal Oak
5.) Patek 5230R world timer

I love all of these. It is hard to narrow your choices to just 5.
