I tried a number of Reversos yesterday and used to own a Grande Calendar which was way too big for my wrist (ard 6.8 inches) and I have been contemplating the Cartier de Santos as well for the past couple of months. I tried several Duofaces, mainly the small seconds iteration with the blue sunburst dial and white on the other side. I found it was either too small, looked a little bit feminine and/or was very thick both on the wrist and off. The strap does help with this a little, as it sits flush but still it really is a thick timepiece. The other watches in my collection are a DJ41 and a Piaget polo 45 flyback chrono which are a lot thinner.

I think I'll go for the Cartier, the Reverso's are actually not that versatile IMO, quite a dressy watch and difficult to wear casually. It's not always a requirement but when you buy a luxury watch it is nice that it looks premium or expensive but JLC although it looks very classy and sophisticated, I find that the Cartier does have these features but at the same time has a slight rugged/edgy look and more masculine as well.

On top of all of this, the Reverso's are almost double the price of the Cartier de Santos, if ever I decided to trade it in, I have done some research and the Cartier would be worth near the amount of the Reverso's (Duoface) and costing almost half.
