overlooked 2015 releases
Talking about non-complicated pateks, these two models seemed great in their 2015 versions. what do you guys think?
5153R 6000G maybe not our favorite references from the brand but i do think they are beautiful iteration(colorwise) of the existing models. |

I particularly like the 6000G, but blue is my favorite color. I was not aware they still made the watch. I owned the black/white 6000G version several years ago, and liked the movement exhibition back as much as the front!

The Blue dial 6000G replaced the anthracite dial which I actually liked better, the anthracite is very uncommon.

I like the blue, but the existing rose and chocolate is more stunning.
I can't get past the crown on the 5153. I know it's classic, but to me it's overbearing for such a simply calatrava.

I agree that the blue dial 5124 looks nice as well. With the 5200G ramping up production, two nice blue dial Gondoalas will be on the market, although at a different price point.
I don't hear any discussion about the new 5227G black dial. What do you guys think? |

I can see a simple Patek RG dress watch in my distant future, that one is quite nice.

Like the 6000g. It is different, but not overly complicated.

Heres the only live pictures i can find of the 6000g, looks promising. Hope some of our members who went to baselworld could show us a few more.
This watch checks a few things for me: 1. Blue Dial 2. 240 movement (mini rotor) 3. Calatrava Cross clasp http://patek.watchprosite.com/?page=...8&s=0&size=raw If only it was 1-2mm larger, hoping to see one in the flesh soon. |

For some reason, this new RG PC (5496R) has been under the radar so far at Basel 2105.
