000 or 112

as many of you know i was robbed, so, i'm thinking on my next watch.
i have a 183 and a 104, in 2010 i'll buy a 312, do you think i should buy a 000 or a 112 this year?
i never saw a 000 in flesh, so i need help.

Tough decision Tui. You will have a seconds hand and sandwich dial (plus date) similar to the 112 on the 312. If it were me, I would go for the Zero.

IMHO a 000 or 005 is a must have in any collection.

000 is a must, once you wear it you don't want to take it off!

You already have 183, 210 & 312. You need logo in your collection. So my advice is go for 000!!!

000 -- Base Luminor with OP Logo, Non-sandwich dial indices, closed caseback

112H and above --- Base Luminor, Sandwich dial, Open caseback, Swan-neck regulated movement

I have owned both and kept my 000 DLC, sold off the 112 at a ridiculous price and I am missing this base badly.

Have to go with Louie on this one love the clean dail and sandwich dail on the 112, but you will have this on the 312 also.

And after seeing Joe's 0000 , i would go for that, and you will have a logo in the collection.

As much as I would love to see you replace your beloved 112 after the robbery... If you are going 312 - I like the idea of the 000. I could not agree more with niels74 - after Joe's pics of the PVD... the zero is a wonderful piece.

Good luck my friend with your decision. Hard to lose on either one.

I had the same choice and decided on the 112 after trying both watches in the shop. I prefer the cleaner look of the 112, as it made me smile harder.

Buy the one that makes you smile more :)

Having said that, with either the 000 or 112, you can not go wrong with a Historic Base!
