Bent End Links

I have a set of vintage jubilee end links that are bent out of shape and a poor fit for the case (34mm case/19mm lugs).

Are there any tips, tricks or hacks to get them back into the correct shape for a nice gap-free fit?

Or is my only option, slow and careful trial and error with a pair of pliers?

We would use pliers to artifex wheel to brush wheel. Takes a bit of practice.

You probably want a reference for how they are supposed to look. I did successfully reshape a pair of 358 end links after I got a pair of 558s as reference. I used nylon pliers and a lot of patience.
