Had the YM blue, beautiful dial!! But couldn’t stand the YM in the end due to fat numbers on bezel.

Besides the usual popular blue models, I’ve been looking at the GP Laureato lately.. I think it’s a good looking, under the radar because it’s not popular, watch!

The GP Laureato blue dial is a seriously underrated watch IMHO.
It gets a lot of sh*t, and I'm still not exactly sure why. Its fit and finish on the bracelet allegedly doesn't compare to the Nautilus or RO, but it also sits at a much lower price point. When you consider the fact that GP makes movements for so many other high end brands, coupled with the fact that the Laureato came out around the same time (1975) as the RO, it's not as though they just came to the market with a cheap rip off (the way Piaget gets criticized for its Polo S) |

I tried it on in the GP boutique and absolutely love it. But the 42mm is slightly large for my 6.5" wrist while the 38mm has the older movement which bothers me. Otherwise I would have pulled the trigger. |

Why yes it is my wrists are slightly larger at 6.75” and am still contemplating if the 42” is too big or not.. 38mm was too small and while I think I could pull off the 42”, I’m still in deciding mode.. but it doesn’t help that watchbox came out with a review on it and love it

While you all wait to save your pennies for the Moser, or the AP, or any of those other fantastic pieces (I really like IWC's blue pilots too): here's something you can get new for $350 (excuse the smartphone quality) |

As a Journe owner, I agree that the CB is gorgeous, but it really does not belong in this conversation since it's not SS.

Stumbled upon this beautiful JLC Polaris blue SS at the JLC Boutique yesterday.
