Watch cleaning solution / wipes

Can anyone recommend a good watch cleaning solution?

I have seen a few wipes and products available ; as I rotate my watches a lot I would like to give them a good clean before and after I take them out to play. Currently I just use a quality cloth without applying anything else?

Are they waterproof with steel bracelets? If so simply use warm water and washing up liquid.
If not get a bergon dial and glass cleaner pen.

I use liquid soap and water, then gentle jewellery cleaner + soft toothbrush, finishing with soft micro fibre cloth.

Check out a product called WristClean Watch Spray, it works great. You can order a sample of their product for $1 to see if you like.

Hi Henry

I also can recommend Wrist Clean, they offer their products in kit form or individual.

They are based in the United States but offer worldwide shipping.

Also worth looking out for their 20 to 30% offer codes im sure other members might point you in the right direction which will off set the shipping costs to the UK.

I just bought a watch from Patrick (ocrolexguy) and he gave me a little cleaning kit. It is a little spray bottle with eyeglass cleanser and a cloth. Works great. If that solution is good enough for my glasses then it’s good enough for a watch. Aside from that, I take my watches into the shower (I take cold showers). I use my clarisonic and face cleanser to it and it works well. If I’m in a pinch, plain old soap and water works.

Soap, water and a dry soft cloth is all you need.

Have to agree soap and water and any soft dry cloth has served me well over the past 40 odd years. But with today's gadget age of Foo Foo sprays, special resting watch cloths, winders, special boxes to rest there watches etc.In general today Rolex watches get such a pampered life, with some afraid to even get them wet with the all the is it safe threads on forum.
