New purchase, 372 or 673?

Thoughts please gentlemen? I’m in the process of squiring one of these beauties. I’m definitely more drawn to the 673 however it obviously costs a fair bit more.

I appreciate Panerai are a good buy on the used market right now. Which of these two models do you think will hold better value?

Thank you in advance.

Both models are a winner. No wrong in choosing either the all-time favorite or the Special Edition 673. It’s a mattet which do you prefer?

Both are basically the same, just a few aesthetically differences. I have one of them and if I had my way and afford to, I’ll get both.

Other than the dial, the hands look slightly more slim on the 673. More "pencil-like." Personally, I think the 372 is a better deal. Used models are selling at almost half price right now.

I was having a similar dilemma -- as most will tell you , can't go wrong either way. I'll always say 673 but I'm biased ;-)

The main differences as you are probably already aware -
-Longer sleeker 'pencil' hands (BIG plus)
-Smaller font on 'Marina Militare' (looks more refined imho)
-Movement has three bridges (372 has two, unless recent models have three now also. Not sure)
-Plexi glass (newer 372's are Chrystal)
-SE of course, so nice box, scroll and so on...

I personally LOVE the MM and there's the simple fact that there aren't nearly as many out there as the 372 (shouldn't matter though if the 372 is what you like)
Question of taste.

372's can be had a great prices now so that's something to consider of course. I spent a hell of a lot more on my (new) 673 than I would have on a (used) 372 but I'm ecstatic about my choice. I really believe I would have regretted not getting it when I had the opportunity.
Cheers

I chose the 673 purely because aesthetically it was as close to the 6152 original as I could possibly get.
However, if Panerai hadn't released this version, the 372 would be on my wrist right now.

I had the choice at the local Boutique of both. Of course, both new. The 673 really caught my eye and I did some research about it's history before I bought it. The 372 and 673 are both quite pricey, but I was willing to pay the difference for the 673. As you, I am so glad I did and would have regretted not doing so. I got mine a couple of months ago and, as it was a 2016 LE I figured it might be a bit scarce.

I also feel I would have got the 372 if the 673 had not been available. And I did do the historical research on the 673 first, and that made it even more attractive. Apart from the history, I love the "Marina Militare" on the dial, and the slightly longer, narrower, pencil shaped hands that both extend farther over the indices and markers.
