Daytona 116509 question?
Hi fellas
I'm lusting over a WG Daytona. Rolex site only shows two dial options. Can someone enlighten me on the meteorite dial? Is there a significant upcharge? I have a 116520 white dial I may flip. I'm not a fan of the black dial. Also is there much of a weight diffence or differences in the case size? I assume the watch case is identical to the SS version? Thanks! R |

As far as I know the case diameter and thickness between the wg and ss daytonas is identical, the only real difference between the two is the slightly heavier weight of the wg model vs the ss.

I was just at the my local dealer's the other day and tried on the WG Daytona with the meteorite dial. It is a stunning watch and really catches the eye. I've been in the market for a new Daytona and the dealer had a 116520 white dial. I ended up getting this, as I prefer the SS version, but the WG with the meteorite dial was very nice.
