Icon3 Need your comments here.....

Well, here we go. It looks like the 'itch' is back, maybe because these options are very nice or maybe because I need a new 'hunt'. Here is the story....

As you know, my current 'family' is varied, includes:

SS: JLC Squadra Hometime, IWC Aquatimer, Daytona (white), Tudor (white)
2T: Black sub, DJ (white-romans)
YG: DD (white-romans), Daytona (newman on strap)

...so here are 4 very different options that I am considering (in no particular order)

-Panerai 177: Luminor marina, black 'sandwich' dial, titanium: I had a Panerai before and it is a very nice looking watch. This would be my first titanium, like the feel/look of the Ti on the case.

-Omega Speedmaster Pro aka Moonwatch: A true classic. Its style and design have had minimal changes and the watch by itself (case, bracelet, movement) has been tried and tested for decades.

-YG Daytona on brown strap: Yes, I already have one on black strap, but the YG daytona has 'something', just a classy and sporty watch at the same time.

-Pre loved 18238 DayDate. I also own a DD (118238) but I have 'something' about special dates. There is a nice event that happened in '92 so getting a mint DD with a tapestry dial (some like it some not, I respect all) would have a nice meaning.

What would you do and why?

As always, THANK YOU!

Gerardo, I'd go with the DD...it is the only one for which you expressed a special meaning. Aside from that, the Panerai would be my second choice, as it appears like you do not currently have one in your "family," and you mentioned a particular, (although not personal, as with the DD), interest in the Ti model.

D.D. Ilike the special tie in from 92, and I love tapestry dials. Love em.

177....great strap combos from dress to casual. A nice change from your other watches. I'm sure Charles could hook you up with lots of great pix.

Re: Speedmaster....a great watch! But, I'd rather have the 177 over a chrono.

Re: YG Daytona, could you just pick up the brown strap and switch between the two, or do you need a second one?

Re: DD....you have one, so, I'd rather have the 177 for variety.
