Looks great! Many of us swap bracelets/straps on our vintage watches, why not the crystal? You can always change it back for originality's sake! Congrats.

Thanks!! I'm going to keep it just in case I ever want to change things up. It's a service crystal anyway. I think ABC has them in stock if you want to buy one.

Very cool! Looks excellent

It's tempting to do to mine, between the full switch to dome, or just trying it out with the cyclops removed from my current crystal... however I also like it just as it is. Maybe some time down the road if I want to spice it up. Looks really cool though congrats

How much was it to replace the top hat to dome with labor (if you don't mind me asking) ?

It cost about $200. That includes the crystal, supplied by ABC, and re profiling it. Thanks.

Looks awesome! I'm expecting my birth year 5513 back from Phillip Ridley tomorrow. I'm bringing her back to stock (crown, plexi, pip).

This is probably my favourite look. Date with no cyclops, superdome, vintage.

Beautiful MK IV! If I didn't already have a domed Rolex, I would be tempted to do the same to my 1680.

Thank you everyone! I've had it back for about 5 days and I've been wearing everyday. This one is going to be hard to take off. Now the hunt for a nice ghost insert starts!
