GMT Master 1675 date change
I recently had my GMT Master 1675 serviced. The date now starts slowly changing at 23h00, instead of clicking over sharply at midnight as before the service. I took it back and spoke to the technician who feels that it is normal to change slowly.
As far as I know, the 1570/1575 movement has the instant changeover mechanism. I am sure it clicked over at midnight before the service. Is that correct or is my memory going? What could be wrong? Any suggestions? Unfortunately the owner of the business who is Rolex trained, recently died, so now I am relying on his assistant. Attached a picture showing the date window at 23h30. |

I "third" that although mine don't all snap in at the stroke of midnight it is a pretty sharp jump.

Yeah no bueno. You should never see two subsequent numbers (previous day's or next day's) like in the photo. As others have voiced, its a click and done.
