Dial good mark 1, insert ok. Bracelet ok, clasp and serial (ok) from 1979, insert mark 3 (ok), glass ok.

I think it looks pretty good!

I'd personally want a dial in better condition. The cracks in the lume would have me worried about further deteriation and i'm not a fan of stabilized lume.

They have lume stabilization techniques for hands that I assume could be done to dials, its essentially glue and always seems to darken the lume up a bit. If it were a 60s watch or had a red dial it might not be as bad, but there are plenty of near perfect examples from 79 out there, i'd just wait for a better one to come along.

Agree with above. That dial tritium is in trouble. Also, not sure about the insert. And where’s the pearl?

The good news is the case, despite the dings. Super fat and straight. Very nice.

Such a shame lovely case, correct VD clasp stamping for an original bracelet and nice Mk l dial........until looking at those cracked plots. If the price reflects the need for work to stabilise the plots and allowing for the lack of choice in the UK, then possibly consider it but for me I'd walk away.
