Its a nice laser weld project if it can be had cheap enough. Unfortunately, I predict the damage wont effect the value greatly due to it being a complete set

Can you imagine the damage to his wrist had he not worn the watch that day? I wonder if he was just a young guy and tried to cut the bezel off, or if this was genuinely a workplace accident

Why would someone cut the Bezel off their expensive Watch?

If that accident had happened to me, there is no way I could sell the watch, just too much history.

Yeah once a watch saves my hand from being sawed off it's a keeper

By cutting across the crystal, bezel and lug? Sounds reasonable.

Nice, with all the Tudor craziness on eBay this week I’m sure there’s no deal to be had here. Outside of a misprices buy it now the Tudor opportunities on eBay are toast.

Mr 05carbonDoctor appears to believe everything he reads on eBay. That should serve him well

Forget the damaged lug, it has an auto stop feature that engages if you don't wear it for 24 hours. That must be why the bidding is so high.

I found that very funny as well. I suppose this is how Tudor’s target market differed from Rolex. Cheaper, used at work, neglected and ridden hard. Orig buyers had good taste but maybe did not know exactly what they had. So many have water and other signs of neglect.

Sawed up case and needs a service. With those bids not feeling too bad about my purchase price of a 79090 a couple years ago.

I know of a person involved in a helicopter accident that credits his 5513 with possibly saving his hand as parts of the airfraft were embedded in the crystal / dial - all replaced by Rolex.
