I just don't think I can do it.

When I started this thread I was asking if the vintage watch group wore there watches everyday. The majority of you said "most definitely". In fact most of you like me don't own anything but older more vintage timepieces.

Well after giving my mint condition Speedmaster a little dinger on the bezel the other day cleaning the pool. While certainly not the end of the world, I have decided to get myself a Sinn or Damasko everyday watch and give a go for a while and only drag out the nice gear on occasion. I was looking at an IWC pilots watch but I would be getting myself into the same situation.

I'm just not the guy that says the little bumps and scrapes show the character and life experiences of the owner. I tried.....

Vintage at the weekends..........nearly vintage weekdays
As you may notice,I never bother setting the date,does anybody set the date on their vintage watches if they wear them in rotation?
