Just joined the club!

So, a day after registering (after a few months lurking) I made a best offer on Ebay and to my jaw dropping surprise it was accepted. I actually had a little (lot) of nervousness. I know a sub $3500 watch is not a lot to many on this board but for me being the first rolex and first ever luxury watch it made me uneasy for a few minutes, ok hours... ok i'm still a bit nervous.

1979 Rolex Datejust 16014

I've researched quite a bit but definitely acknowledge the collective knowledge on this board and likely 99% of members greatly surpasses my own. So how'd I do?

This watch is a bit of a franken with aftermarket sapphire crystal & an incorrect (but authentic) 78360 band. Im unsure of the dial as i see it quite a bit but i'm not sure if it's an aftermarket dial or if it came original to the watch (any insight)?

I think i'd like to get rid of the 78360 with 558B end links and get the original 62510H Jubilee (if a member has one to trade that would be awesome).

THIS WATCH IS NOT FOR SALE - but I would still like a few opinions of value for my own peace of mind, I think I got a fair deal but would love to hear more experienced members thoughts.

I'll take some better pictures of it once it comes in.
