Not even close ... Watch 2, despite the snow-white replacement date wheel, which is a relatively minor issue anyway. It's got much nicer patina, and the other watch has a service insert with mismatched lumi pearl.
That is, of course, assuming that everything has been confirmed as correct on the watch. What are the asking prices? |

Watch 2 is much nicer but whilst the photo's of the dial aren't super clear the face on one towards the bottom shows it to be a service dial with the open 6's.
I've hopefully attached a thread link that explains and if you click on the link to compare the MKll original with the 'Type C" service dial hopefully you will see what I mean. £7k is about right for a 1680 White in the UK with a service dial and about £10k up for an original dial https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=513941 |

I'd go for #2. I will say, Mk3 inserts are insanely expensive now, i can't believe it. I remember when you could buy them for $200...ugh.

7,500 GBP for the second watch looks like a really good buy to me.......you don't see many at that price for sale in the UK - good luck with your decision.
