New red sub target

Hi guys -

I've come across another red sub that I'm considering buying. It's a mark vi with serial numbers to match. No box or papers but would appreciate thoughts.

Thanks!

We'll, I can tell you that the insert is wrong (metal ring at pearl), and there's an obvious divot in the case at the 10 o'clock area where someone has carelessly pried off the bezel.

A detail like that would probably be enough for me to pass, because who knows what else is going on with the watch? These red Subs are getting so expensive (aka over-priced, IMHO), that I'd wait for an example that you know, definitively, has no issues.

People said PNs were overpriced when they reached 50 grand. Try getting a decent one for under six figures now.

Dial and Hands are about all it has going for it unfortunately. As others have mentioned crown guards are brutal, which affects the entire case, and service insert.... I'd hard pass!

It's worse than a service insert. It's a wrong insert, period. Metal ring at pearl.

However, that's the least of the issues, as mentioned.
