a 1953 ... Explorer?
I have made it a habit to explore local classifieds when I should be sleeping, and ran across this thing ... Legitimate or not, I have no idea. When I step out of the Sub and Datejust arena, I'm pretty lost.
Seller claims it's a 53 model Explorer, but to me something just doesn't fit. Did they have "EXPLORER" on the dial? "Swiss Made" at the 6 o'clock position? What are y'all's thoughts? |

Probably just got the SN dated wrong, looks like a nice honest early explorer to me. What’s he asking?
