Trying to buy a watch in Germany......advice needed.

There is a watch in Germany that I want to buy. Problem is the seller has 2 buying references but no selling ones. His foot print is pretty light. Not keen on wiring cash to Germany and crossing my fingers. Seller does not want paypal and frankly their exchange rates are horrid.....ideas?

Someone in the EU has an escrow service?

Are you buying from chrono 24 or just some random guy from the internet?

Personally, I would only send an international wire to a trusted seller.

Even if it feels a BIT sketchy, that should be more than enough to walk away. WAY too many factors involved that could easily lead to a huge regret.
Is the watch at hand super rare, or something? Surely, it can't be that great a deal.

You're going to end up getting a deal you didn't bargain for. Not a chance.

Chrono24 have an escrow service. Perhaps you can ask him to list there? I have a well-travelled dealer I’ve used for years in the UK. He can source, but also can help in a purchase. Is it a specific piece you’re after? Pm or email if you need help.
