Daytona- RG black dial vs YG green dial

So i have decided my next watch will be a Daytona.
I fell in love with those two options and now I'm torn in between.

I tried both on, and love both (isn't that always the issue?)
Figured i will drop this here and see what you guys think.

I have a picture of the green one on my wrist but not of the rose gold.

Very different overall aesthetics. I personally prefer the RG model with black dial and "pink" subdials. I've tried that one on in-person before and it's truly a stunning watch to look at. Here is the exact configuration I am thinking of (to make sure we're aligned). It's probably my favorite PM configuration of the Daytona behind the WG on OF bracelet. And yes, I know that those top 2 from me could not be any more opposite from one another (under the radar WG vs in-your-face RG)

The rose gold is very slightly larger than the yellow gold version.

I personally prefer the RG with black. It's less "flashy" than the green with YG. Aesthetically, they both look great but I prefer a more understated look.

Ive had personally 6 rose gold black dials! Just cant seem to be without one! But currently have been without for a 12 months and just picked up a green YG as gone are the days when the roses were much more affordable. The green really is stunning but still love that black and rose chrono dial!

The yg green dial version is one of my favorite configurations available from Rolex right now. My vote goes to that one

They're both jaw droppers, for sure. I think RG gives you the more classic "Daytona" look with the more defined sub-dials and the green is more sporty. So just depends on what look you're after.

Me, I'm more of a WG fan. Go try on the blue with that same shirt and see what happens...

Both are stunning, but I'm partial to the ever rose.

I am in the VAST minority here who doesn’t like green dials at all. Not a Hulk fan, Anniversary DD fan, etc. However, on the YG Daytona it looks amazing. I might go that way.

Now for a little cliff hanger:

I can buy the rose gold for about $6500 less than the green dial.

That’s more of a price difference than I would have expected between the two pieces, but I’m still sticking to the YG and green. The 6500 doesn’t change it for me. I also feel like the RG black dial is relatively common while the YG green seems more special

I love the RG with black face, but not sure if I could rock it. Seems a bit too feminine for me.

I’ve actually owned a few rg black dials in the past and I can honestly say I was torn between the green Daytona yg, and rg black.. but I ended up ordering the green.. it should be here any day now... the wait is killing me!

The Everose. Rolex Everose is amazing and a standout at any price point. It’s not pink like the others but rich with a warm red hue. Think “swagger”.

YG with green dial is so beautiful however I feel that the RG with black dial is more modern.

I have owned several YG Daytona's and they are great watches. I have also owned it in RG and was disappointed in how the metal did not work as well for me as the pictures I had seen. The green dial in the YG is great and that would be where I would go. The RG is also a more difficult flip or sale as the market is limited. Send a few TS a note and ask what you would get on a trade for the two models and that may help you decide.
