<<< Should I get a SD43 50TH Anniversary ? >>>

Soon I will more than likely have to part with either
The Bluesy Sub C or SD4K C 116600..,

Another option is sell both and get a SD 43 50TH...

What do y’all think ?

1. Bluesy stays

2. SD4K C 116600 stays

3. Sell both and get SD43 Anniversary...

I’ve added a poll to tally up the votes but please
Voice your opinions as it will be helpful towards my final decision.
I know ultimately it’s my flavor and choice but your
Expertise won’t hurt ...

Note : last pic of SD43 50th taken from internet...

Reading Mario’s original post, that doesn’t appear to be a likely option.

If it was I’d probably suggest the same.

Unless they discontinued the red ...........

I view sd4k as a fatter sub( unless you’re an actual saturation diver) so I would ditch that piece. Love a TT bluesy, so I’d try to hold on to it. Either way, if you can score a 43mm seadweller at current prices, it will be a good purchase. 2018 will bring a higher price or maybe even no red writing, either way, do it!

Seeing your current 2, I think you have no issues with the 43mm. It’s an awesome watch. I vote that, and if you are asking us I suspect that what you want too. I tried one on again the other day and loved it.

If you can get at mrsp, then I say go for it.

Depends on the reason why you need to ditch one of them Mario?

A) There is zero chance, i'd not own an SD4k. The best diver ever. B) I was very very underwhelmed by my time owning the SD43. YMMV. I moved mine, and I NEVER sell watches. I am a Rolex black hole.

Just curious why u were so underwhelmed. Thx.

OP, love my SD43 and now it’s my daily.

I don’t get it either. Makes zero sense that someone who collects Rolex divers, who has a 16600 and a 116600 (and is not short of cash) didn’t keep the first year release of the 50th anniversary 126600.

Odd

Indeed, considering he has an 8” wrist.

As I recall from his original review he seemed like warm to it. I guess different strokes ...

But! Pending you answer, the LB is easily replaceable. The 116600 less so (for sensible cost) so I’d sell the LB. keep the SD4K and make the choice if you can get the SD43 at MRSP.

From a daily perspective, my SD43 is an easy daily. Your wrist is bigger than mine so it’s a guaranteed win for you in that respect. Same thickness as your SD4K but better balanced

You’ll know for sure when you try it

For me it exceeded expectations, but I appreciate it’s not for everyone.

Although the poll here is pretty clear

Keep that SD4000! It’s a special watch. I made that trade and regretted it! The Sd43 looks great in pictures and is great for collecting purposes, but it was way too heavy on the wrist. You have a nice pair with the bluesy and the SD4000. Save your $$ and enjoy those classics

I like the SD43 over both of your current. I would flip but that’s not up to me. Good luck!

I think that from all your previous posts about the Bluesy you would miss it if flipped.
SD 4k and 43 are more similar to each other than the gorgeous Bluesy so I recommend keeping it somehow.

As you love the Bluesy keep it as you will only buy it back later, sell the SD if you have to sell.

I voted for the bluesy for you, Mario. Because I think you love it, it looks great on you, and I just think it fits your personality...as much one can know someone's personality on an internet watch forum.

Get an all gold sub and keep the sd4k. No need for a one foot in, one foot out gold piece.

I much prefer the SD43 to the sd4000. If at all possible I’d flip the sd4000 and add funds to acquire the SD43
