Do you own a Harold Bacon watch?

The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon is based on the "six degrees of separation" concept, which posits that any two people on Earth are six or fewer acquaintance links apart.

So, what could this have to do with watches? And is it true that we have a celebrity in our midst?

Plenty, I'd say. And yes, Harold is secretly that man. I'd wager that most watches on this forum, especially vintage GMT, Sub, and Sea Dwellers are connected.... connected by the man, the myth of who I will now call Harold Bacon.

No less than 5 of my interactions (asking for advice, buying or selling) included "I have a watch from Harold too."

Do you own a Kevin, I mean Harold Bacon watch?

If the answer is yes then kindly post your photos below.

My humble offering to the game:

Not quite, Russ. We'd need to start a parts and bracelets threat I believe. But a strong effort, Brother.

You don't find Harold Bacon, Harold Bacon finds you.

You see, Harold has a magnificent eye and has purchased many fantastic watches over the years. Harold, however has a serious condition known as flipskins disease. His watches often end up available months after he sources them ... and that's when you must act!

Let me not for one moment be unclear, there's no cure for flipskins. One serious side effect is the desire to buy back watches previously owned...

I bought a watch from Harold once. Wasn't long after he wanted to buy it back - he even offered me more that I paid for the watch. I thought this was strange. I started talking to others and found out he does this all the time. He was obsessive with me, so obsessive that I had to ban his email address and phone number so he would quit hounding me. He's got it bad!
