I don't think they make very many in that combo and it's a 'new' model from last year so slow trickle out I think. I remember seeing one in the case at an AD but above MSRP in Egypt last year. I'd just be patient. I remember the silver dial OF taking like 18 months after annoucement before hitting a lot of the AD cases. (Before it became hot)

Put down 20% deposit at an AD with whom I had no prior relationship. Just received it yesterday.

I think YMMV based on when your order takes place (early/mid-year versus year-end).

In mid 2019, it took 1 month for delivery of my OF Daytona upon deposit; however, I know of the exact same model taking 6+ months to arrive because it was ordered around year-end (October). Apparently due to that specific reference having already been fully allocated to ADs for the year meaning it had to wait until early 2020 for delivery.

picked up a DSSD JC on march 4 after a week of asking for it.
got a call for 3 watches that i could pick from
1st was sea dweller 50th anniversary
2nd was TT GMT master II beautiful watch
3rd was a rose gold GMT master II
this was on march 28TH everything was shut down
i told the AD that i just bought a watch from him and that this is a crazy time to buy another watch because of the virus but if i was going to spend the money i would only buy a Daytona 20 min later i get a call saying he's got me a black face daytona i was
i was like DAMN!!!
this is crazy i only asked this one time i told him i needed to think about it and i would call him back
later that night i called him back to talk about it (like 4 hours) later he told me he was sorry that the watch was sold :(
i did a follow up call on that monday he told me he had no daytona's for sale now
(no inventory)
well what do you know 2 hours later i get a call guy who bought the Daytona didn't have the funds for it and i have another chance to buy it i picked up it and got it delivered a month later

When I say ‘same day’ it means I wasn’t on a list for it, but I may have been looking for that watch for a while. I was looking for most watches for at least a few months before I found them, except the Milgauss and the DD40.

I’ve bought my watches at different ADs mainly across Asia. Just always pop in when I see an AD and see if they have anything that’s on ‘my list’.

I’ve declined more ‘popular’ models than I’ve bought, such as SD43, Hulk, CHNR, SD4K, BLNR, DSSD, Sub Date, DJ41 blue, YM, YM II.


My hometown AD gets most of my business though.
