Agreed, 45mm was too big on my Emergency Mission. 51 is silly.

Size wise that may just be too big. Under 45mm is really idea and the higher end of that is pushing it. Price wise yikes! It's a quartz watch, I know all the gizmos that are in it but jeez. The previous model was what $5 or $6 k? I had a emergency titanium black dial a few years back and loved it.

The 51mm size is stupid, but the 18k price is ridiculous; who does Breitling think they are.

It's not 18k. Maybe for the black titanium limited. But if you guys honestly think 18k is the price, you need to check your sources. Breitling is not concerned about folks that think 51mm is too large, fact is most if not all e2's are allready accounted for at least in the states.

I REALLY like it!

I've long coveted the original but held off with all the talk of the frequency being outdated and a new model in the pipeline.

I'm old-school to the bone but I don't mind this being big because of the technology it brings to the party rather than just a big blingy case with a tiny ickle movement somewhere inside.

I would hold never to use it but I would be buying it for it's practical application rather than just trying to look like Bear bloody Gryls.

Ummm...military pilots, and really anyone who is part of the US military, doesn't need this watch or its functions. We have much better gear.

Guess that would be why the military isn't who Breitling is targeting with the e2.

No, it's me who should be

I was just going by screen captures - I really don't care who they're targeting.

Got a call from my AD today and they will have the new Emergency in their showroom in about 2 weeks. Price $15k !?!?!? Yikes. He said that they aren't even interested in stocking the watch because they are shocked at the price hike and unsure of the potential customer interest due to the increase. I am still going to go in and check it out when they have one available, figure worst case it's an excuse to check out some clocks. I'll post a pic when I do. Me being 6 ft 180 lbs I wonder how a watch of that size will wear lol.

My super avenger barely stayed inside my wrist at 48 mm (rougly 7.25 flat wrist). This thing must be a tank. That promo video was pathetic given it seems them spent some money doing it. Then again, I often hate marketing that ends up connecting with the target market. So hey, what the heck.
