Saw this Day Date for sale today. Interesting Bezel. Claims it is original and the guarantee states ref 18038 from the Hour Glass dated 1984. Any info on this unique day date? Thanks

I had not seen this type bezel with dual diamonds and dual pyramids. Have seen all pyramid DD’s, and single diamond alternating with pyramids on OW DD’s

The one you showed has evidently been heavily polished. Any papers with it?

might be authentic rolex, but it's not original to the watch. if it were real it would've came on a Crown Collection model, and they have separate model numbers

That bezel is not what would have come on an 18038. It may be the original which has been modified or a bezel from another model or just aftermarket.

Sorry I was ambiguous, I meant does it have Rolex papers.

But I think the others have pointed out that the watch didn’t begin life with that bezel on it.
