Tudor is a great watch, but the brand recognition is very weak. Almost no one know that even exists and that it belongs to Rolex, sales in Brazil is close to nothing, i guess on other markets also. So even for half price of a Rolex is a tough sell. Rolex needs better advertising, time and effort (low price) to get the brand going.

I can’t believe that such a lovely piece that’s so well made is available for this price
Happy days

I think with the current Rolex SS shortage and the effect of having people like David Beckham plugging the brand, Tudor is going to become much more widely known/desired in the near future. I for one am hoping to jump on the wagon...hopefully with this GMT...before they become more expensive/difficult to obtain.

I think that the price on most Tudor watches is right where it should be. Not too much nor is it too little. Great quality watch and I currently own 5 with the Black Bay GMT and the Black Bay S&G with the champagne dial pending delivery.

Nice incoming,,,

Tried the S-andG with champagne on leather yesterday and it's a beauty,,

Some pics but it was very bright in the Ads

When out of the light the dial is much darker,,,

It's a little under-priced as is the deliberate policy now, big greys have it here for £2K over retail, so should be £500-1k more really.

Why give Tudor ideas to raise prices? Do you work for Tudor?

Current Tudor prices are comparable to pre-Ceramic era Rolex prices after inflation.

Which increase the demand for BB, GMT and Pelagos models.
If Tudor does increase prices then a lot of their other models will be collecting dusts in the ADs.

My AD had one in stock yesterday. I don’t know if it’s overpriced or not, but it is a beauty.

Add in the value of the real estate they take up on your wrist, and you have a real bargain!

To me, the Watch is simply trying too hard. It’s a mish mash homage to the original Pepsi...and misses the mark.

Any luxury watch is probably not truly worth the money... A seiko 5 does a perfectly job at 150x less the price of a sub.

In luxury watches though, I believe the Tudor GMT is extremely well priced and imo could have a higher price.

If a Rolex crown was on the dial it would be worth so much more, and the quality of the movement, case, bracelet etc wouldn’t have to be touched. But that’s the thing in the luxury watch world, brands and details are everything.

What do you want for 4K? I wait for the ass to fall out of it before I snag a pre-owned bargain.

Seiko delivers a lot more for a lot less than $4k...

Seriously though. It’s an homage which is neither fish nor fowl.

Most Tudors are Rolex homages. I know what you're saying but isn't Tudor's first GMT rather more significant since Rolex invented the thing? If anyone can shamelessly copy Rolex it's Tudor. I wish they'd followed through completely and done a sapphire bezel with lume.

So ONLY 200 euro for the data AND the GMT function ??

Am I missing something or should Tudor ask 4500 for this watch.

.

"Born to dare" ... Dare too say ' this brand is too cheap'

I mean, this quality for such a price ?
If Tudor would belong to the Richmond group or LVMH I honestly believe they could charge 5000 to 6000 EURO ( 6000-7000 USD) for their watches.?

A Panerai GMT with steel bracelet isn't a better watch and it cost 2.5 to 3 times more.

With that goofy hour hand--it should be 800 bucks.

Tudor just screams "generic Rolex" to me, unless there is a claim to fame of which I'm not aware.
