What blows my mind, is these guys will say 'was thinking about checking it out in person'. What would that possibly accomplish? If you can't tell this watch is blatantly fake from those pictures, you have no business buying a watch from anybody but an authorized dealer.

I'm sure half of people asking these question are looking for Submariners in the $100-1000 range

Right? It seems to me they are asking here, not to determine if its fake.....but they're actually asking 'Trying to get a watch under $1000, is this one an obvious fake or can I fool most people?'

I think that's a FANTASTIC idea. The link to watch in question, or a screenshot of the listing including price.

on two different 'is this fake' threads in the past week, I've seen myself or another ask for the listing ID or the price.........and the OP always mysteriously becomes unresponsive at that point. let's see if we will be 3/3

the mods need to somehow put a stop to this. Just as I said, he disappears after we bring up the listing/price. He's logged on since we asked him....AND mysteriously changes his location from Bosnia to Germany.

It's incredibly obvious members aren't coming here to get help w fakes, they're simply looking to score a fake, or try to garner opinions on fakes they already own.

This is the 4th or 5th thread OP has posted with exactly the same MO. Posts a few blurry pics, asks questions about authenticity and then disappears even when asked specific details like price.

Suspicious activity changing location from Bosnia to Germany too.

I was asking for a friend and yes that sounds like it does but he has an ad on the local classifieds and occasionally he will receive blurry photos and he asks me what do I think and as a rule I always come here because you guys know better and are ready to help out.He scored once so now every offer is taken serious. As for the "suspicious" location change and other assumptions .. wow very classy

I just wonder how does that "score" look. Tell your friend to stop wasting time on some local CL 100-1000€ section

the cost of gas to view this watch is likely more than the watch is worth.

The wear I put on my keyboard replying to this thread has depreciated the keyboards' value more than that watch is worth.
