Icon7 I come from a land down-under!

Hello everyone!

I am a new member to the forum, been snooping around for a couple of days. I like the people here, so I thought I would introduce myself.

I am, as you can probably guess, a Rolex fan, have always loved them since I can remember as a child, guess it stems from growing up and seeing the SS Explorer on my father's wrist and being so envious. And what better way to start of my Rolex career with a SS GMT II Ceramic (I hope I am getting the lingo right!).

Previous watch is a SS Tudor that my father gave me for my birthday many years ago that has quite a history, purchased in Munich in the 70's and then stored to give to his son, once he became mature enough.

Anyway I hope that is enough of an insight, let me know if you have any other questions for me.

Hi Attila, welcome aboard!

It sounds like your family is developing a history of Rolex heirlooms. Good stuff.

Thank you, yes and one day I may inherit those watches, my father also owns a lovely IWC dress watch from late 50's or early 60's.

Melbourne, that's great
There are a few of us here from that part of the world so maybe we might catch up for a GTG sometime soon.
Let me know if you are interested.
