Greetings from Oregon

Hey Folks,

I was refered to this great site/community by KansaiVet. Thanks Tom. Looking forward to hanging out an enjoying the interesting content. I live in Portland, Oregon and currently wear a T series SS Sub Date 16610 and an E series GMT Master 16700 - usually not at the same time. Greg

Welcome to TRF, Greg. Glad Tom convinced you to check us out.

Any friend of Tom's is, well. . . . let's not get into that.

But stick around anyway and join the fun.

Hi Greg and welcome to the TRF!

I'm a fellow Portlander myself. All we need are a couple more and we can take over this joint!

Maybe we can hook up with Tom, have a few drinks and swap stories sometime.

Thanks for the great welcome ! I think i am going to like it here. Here's a few quick pics- which are really poor. I really need to work on my photo skills. I never knew how difficult it is to get a good shot of a timepiece. I will try and snap a few decent photos and post them up soon. Thanks, Greg

Downing - sounds good to me. I see Tom at the gym every now and then and he's told me of your great visits to the your favorite AD. Love to meet up with you guys sometime. Thx Greg

Hey Greg! Welcome! Glad you joined up!!

Greg is the reason I finally started wearing my Explorer II to the gym. I figured if he had the kahones to wear a Rolex Tool Watch to the gym and possibly scratch it, then what the heck!

I have seen both Greg's Black and Red GMT and his Sub! So awesome and well taken care of!

What is funny is Greg and I started talking because of the Rolex he was sporting. There are a few Dudes at the gym wearing Subs, GMTs and Explorers. Good times!

Thanks Tom. I noticed over that TuTone Sub you had on. OH SO NICE ! That's when we started talking. You must have had a light day at the gym and figured you wouldn't scratch that beauty up.. I think you were talking to Loren with his 16800 Sub, What is it with us Rolex guys..we tend to zero right in on a nice timepiece.
