Re-Cased Sea-Dweller Question

I had a K Sea Dweller re-cased and looks really good. However, the helium escape valve seems lower/recessed as compared to the original. RSC says the new HEV are shorter in length.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

Attached is picture of valve. Another thing to note is the new type of springbars installed,Will post a picture in a bit. Any thoughts on this? Should I send it back to RSC? Or is this what happens when a new case is fitted? Thanks.

No expert, but that does not look normal.

That looks weird. I'd be concerned that eventually dirt and grime would eventually get stuck at the HEV.

Wonder why they didn't just stick the old HEV back into the new case?

Did you ask them to replace the HEV?

Yes it looks weird. They said that a new case always has to have a new HEV. I have sent it back and asked that it be returned to the 'original' valve position. I'm not very impressed now.

Apologies for the very late reply. RSC replaced the case (I checked, it is a different serial number) and HEV with a new 'set' and now looks perfect. My watch has had three different serial numbers ! Anyway, it's all documented on RSC papers so everything is official.
