Crystal height? - Sub Date

Hey all,

Quick question, recently had the crystal on my sub replaced by a non AD with a genuine one.

After looking at at it and a few pics of other subs the crystal to me possibly appears too low.

Granted I dont really remember that well how high it was before!

Was thinking maybe the gasket was aftermarket or too short? I know the crystal is genuine though.

Anyone have any input?

Here are pics:

Cheers,
Daniel

If the date is displayed OK, then it's OK I'd say.

There are 2 gaskets that fit the 295 cyclop sapphire 295-1 for dress models and 295-2 which is taller for some sport models. your subd uses a 295-2 the taller one Rik

Thanks for the reply rikki the C2 is 2.7mm? From the pics can you tell if it's the correct gasket?

Cheers

It appears to be correct Rikki the difference between the 2 is .15 of a mm 2.55 vs. 2.70mm The issue is how close the hands are to the crystal if you put the wrong one on a sub I beleive the hands will hit the crystal. Rik
