Rapid change of the hour, only on GMT II?

Hello all.

I need some help.
I do like vintage watches and are now looking at getting me a Rolex, 60`s to mid 70`s.

I was on a flight to Canada, when the passenger next to me started to set the time for Toronto, just jumping straight to the right time....Wow, cool. Me? Had to work the crown for some minutes, making me think...Oh, I like to have that function. One thing I like is the rapid change of the hour on the GMT model II.
Does any other model have that?
When did that function come?

Good day all.

Thank you for the reply.
Sadly, only the GMT II and Explorer II have that function...
