It’s definitely a cute little toy.

I’m guessing a trophy wife, male menopause or overpaid jock will snag them all.

Ehhhh - Love p cars but guess I hate convertibles because this car does 0 for me. I could not imagine getting this over the gt3rs or such but hey different strokes for different folks. 911 RS now that is a dream machine!

I've never had a convertible, and would take one in a heartbeat.

Nobody has ever told me though, what does a woman do with her purse while driving topless?
I thi k im afraid somebody will walk by, while I'm waiti g at a light, and just grab it.

Seeing a topless woman in a convertible, your purse would be the last thing I'd be looking at.

Was going to bring this up too. Anyone that bought a 918 got VIP status for 10 years for their patronage. Many if not all of them will pick up one of these.

I actually don’t like it, compare to the original... looks to me like a 911 with a kit to make it look like a speedster. For the money I would go for the Targa...

That's really a funny remark.

BTW, I saw a female friend securing her purse's strap with her cabriolet's seatbelt. That kind of method might help.

A roll cage and three point harness would be more secure for your bag.

Re - original thread: I imagine most of these will sit in heated/air conditioned garages and seldom see the light of day, so the lack of a top won't be so consequential. Pretty car though!

I currently own a 991 TT. After 3 years of ownership, I am realizing that Porsche cars are a little boring. They all look the same inside (nevermind the outside), wether its a base Carrera or a GT3 or a TT. It rarely feels special driving one. Its a mix of same looks, inside and outside and the German over-engineering. I find myself rarely driving my car. I have my it for sale and I don't think I would buy an other 911.

This Speedster does nothing for me tbh. Maybe I'm the odd one out.

I have a 991 Cab and love it. But I can see that if you have a top line 911, you could feel like it doesn't look different enough from all other 911s, some of which cost 1/2 as much. If that is important to you, perhaps you want a Ferrari or AM or similar?

Indeed, I am thinking of Ferrari or Mclaren.

I just got a Targa 4 GTS and I’m over the moon with it.

But I can relate to being bored with stuff. Very much so.

Time to move on. So many nice cars to choose from. The good part is you likely won’t hage lost too much on depreciation.

Consistent MMI inside is key to maintaining a long-term loyal customer base. Everything in its place and familiar.

Making changes can churn the customer base and erode the brand’s stickiness for lifecycling them.

That kept me in Porsches for 3 generations of the 911
- then I bought a Boxster...

But yours is more beautiful inside methinks

I've had a couple 911's, including a TT. Funny, Ferrari does nothing for me.

Everyone's different.

Porsches are real cars that can be daily driven. Do you want to drive it, or stand next to it?

I sold my 911 Cab and my soul for a back seat. When the last of the kids are gone I’ll get another two seater.

It's the PDK. I had a '15 TT for less than a year. Too fast to be any fun on regular roads and not having a MT was mind numbing.
I lost a lot of money learning my lesson there, but it's been my only non-MT P car of many over almost 30 years.
No interest in most newly minted sports cars since no MT. As far as Ferrari, it's over 3 hours to my nearest dealer as well as no MT in current production.
I won't be losing any sleep over not getting a Speedster allocation however.

I’ll stick with my Turbo S for now. I don’t like convertibles in the summer, I remember the heat every time I stopped at a red light in my MG as a youth. I do admit, I would look pretty spiffy at that red light in a Speedster.
